Annual Medicare Information Meeting

Need help navigating the Medicare process? The Town of Lockport will be hosting a Medicare Information Night

This event is held in collaboration with the Dale Association and the Niagara County Office for the Aging. It will be informal and held in an open-forum setting.

You will receive information regarding the changes to Medicare, the Medicare Health Plans, Medicare Part D, NYS EPIC, and “Extra Help”, the Low-Income Subsidy program.

Attendees will be able to meet one on one with various representatives and providers.

• Medicare Open Enrollment Period is October 15, 2023 – December 7, 2023
• Turning 65? Your Initial Enrollment Period for Medicare Part A & B is based on the month in which you turn 65. It begins three months before your birth month and extends until three months after your birth month. Example: If you are born on June 18, 1959, your Initial Enrollment Period is from March 1, 2024, until September 30, 2024.

Anyone approaching the age of 65 are encouraged to attend. Medicare can be extremely confusing, and we must always remember that knowledge is power.
